Shuichi Murata and Yuki Yoshimura each homered in a four-run first inning Monday and the Yokohama BayStars used a three-run third to hold off the Saitama Seibu Lions 10-5 in interleague action.

Seibu took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first but Murata hit a solo blast and Yoshimura connected for a two-run drive against Kazuhisa Ishii (7-4) in the bottom half as Yokohama went on to win three straight for the first time this season.

Toru Hosokawa's solo shot brought the Lions within 4-2 but Ryoji Aikawa's two-run single stretched the lead in the third and Seiichi Uchikawa, who drove in two runs at Yokohama Stadium, had an RBI double that capped the scoring in the eighth.
