Toru Hosokawa hit a three-run homer and drove in five runs, helping power the Seibu Lions in a 10-3 rout of the Chunichi Dragons on Sunday.

Takeya Nakamura got things rolling with a two-run bases-loaded single with one out in the fourth inning before Hosokawa teed off to the stands in left on a fastball from Kenichi Nakata (4-4) one out later at Seibu Dome.

Hosokawa's two-run single highlighted a five-run fifth that put the game out of reach as Seibu ended a nine-game winless streak dating back to 2006 against Chunichi in interleague play. Kazuyuki Hoashi (6-0) allowed one run and five hits in six innings.
