Yu Darvish picked up his first win in four starts and Eiichi Koyano went 2-for-4 with four RBIs as the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters beat the Tokyo Yakult Swallows 7-3 on Wednesday.

Darvish (6-1) allowed three runs and seven hits in eight innings, striking out nine, walking one and hitting a batter in a 141-pitch outing in interleague play at Jingu Stadium.

The righty yielded a solo homer to Shinya Miyamoto in the second and gave up four straight singles leading off a two-run fifth.

Koyano singled in two runs each in the first and fifth innings. Kyohei Muranaka (3-6) was charged with seven runs in 4 2/3 innings for Yakult, which has lost four straight.
