Osaka Evessa small forward Kazuya Hatano has filed for free agency, the bj-league team announced on Saturday.
Hatano, who was born in Brazil, has played for Osaka in each of its three championship seasons. The All-Star performer was a regular fixture in the lineup, starting every regular-season game and helping his team win a league-high 31 games before the playoffs started.
