Head coach Kensaku Tennichi, who has guided the Osaka Evessa to three consecutive bj-league titles, has accepted a one-year contract extension, the team announced on Friday.
Evessa assistant coach Yasushi Higa also agreed to return to the team next season.
"I'm so pleased that I'll be able to guide the Osaka Evessa again next season," Tennichi said. "Based on our up-tempo basketball, we'd like to build the team adding new elements so the boosters can feel, 'This year's Evessa are different. They've changed.' "
