Shuichi Murata hit a three-run home run in the third inning and pinch hitter Larry Bigbie's two-run blast put the icing on the cake in the ninth as the Yokohama BayStars beat the Central League-leading Hanshin Tigers 6-2 on Friday.

Murata connected off Yuya Ando (4-3) over the fence in left, making it 3-0 in the third and Hanshin pulled within 4-2, only for Bigbie to widen the lead with his drive against reliever Atsushi Nomi in the ninth at Koshien Stadium.

Daisuke Miura (2-4) yielded one unearned run, while striking out eight with two walks, in six innings to help Yokohama finally get its 10th victory of the season. Tomoaki Kanemoto hit two sac flies for the Tigers, who lost two in a row for the first time this year.
