Toru Hosokawa delivered a grand slam and Takahiko "G.G." Sato hit a tiebreaking two-run homer as the Seibu Lions overcame a six-run deficit to beat the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters 8-6 on Monday.

Hosokawa's fifth-inning slam and a Hiroyuki Nakajima solo homer in the sixth, both off Brian Sweeney, reduced Seibu's deficit to 6-5 in Pacific League action at Seibu Dome.

In the eighth, Craig Brazell tied the score with a two-out RBI single and Sato followed with a shot to center off Hisashi Takeda (2-2).

Chikara Onodera (2-2) won in relief. Alex Graman closed out the ninth to earn his eighth save.
