Michihiro Ogasawara, Shinnosuke Abe and Alex Ramirez each homered to power the Yomiuri Giants in a 6-2 win over the Yokohama BayStars for their third straight victory on Thursday.
Ogasawara hit a three-run drive against Takumi Nasuno (1-3) in the first inning and Abe and Ramirez went deep with solo shots in the sixth and eighth in the Central League game at Tokyo Dome.
Left-hander Hisanori Takahashi (2-2) held Yokohama to two runs and five hits while striking out five with no walks. Yokohama lost its fifth in a row.
