Alex Ramirez hit a pair of home runs and Michihiro Ogasawara chipped in with a two-run drive as the Yomiuri Giants got their third win in four games with a 6-4 victory over the Tokyo Yakult Swallows on Sunday.

Ogasawara went deep to center with one on and one out in the first inning, and Ramirez followed with a blast to the seats in left before adding a two-run shot the same direction off former teammate Tatsuyoshi Masubuchi (1-1) to make it 5-1 in the third at Tokyo Dome.

Hiroshi Kisanuki (2-0) gave up three runs, scattering eight hits over seven innings. Aaron Guiel had a pair of solo blasts for Yakult, which has dropped five of its last six games.
