The Orix Buffaloes said Tuesday they have acquired veteran Dominican right-hander Ramon Ortiz, who played for the Minnesota Twins and Colorado Rockies last year. Orix and Ortiz have agreed on an annual salary of ¥130 million plus incentives. The 35-year-old has an 84-80 record with a 4.47 ERA in his nine-year career in the major leagues.
