Saitama Broncos small forward Mamadou Diouf played a pivotal role in his team's two-game sweep over the two-time defending champion Osaka Evessa last weekend.
He is the Circle K Sunkus Player of the Week, the bj-league announced on Tuesday.
On Sunday, Diouf had 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting, nine assists, four rebounds and three steals in a 97-79 win.
A day earlier, Diouf, a native of Senegal, had a 17-point, 10-rebound, six-assist, four-steal, one-block performance.
Diouf is Saitama's second-leading passer behind Taishiro Shimizu, and is averaging 15.2 points per game.
