Nagisa Arakaki pitched five scoreless innings with three strikeouts Thursday as the Softbank Hawks played the Chiba Lotte Marines to a 3-3 tie in a preseason game. Hiroyuki Kobayashi allowed two runs in three innings for Lotte, walking two with four strikeouts at Yahoo Dome. Takumi Kobe hit a three-run homer in the seventh after replacing cleanup hitter Saburo Omura and went 2-for-2.
