Cohey Aoki scored a game-high 29 points and Nick Davis added 22 points and 21 rebounds to lead the Tokyo Apache to a 105-95 road win over the Oita HeatDevils on Saturday night.

The Apache (15-12) also got 19 points from Dameion Baker and 17 from John "Helicopter" Humphrey.

For Oita (11-16), Andy Ellis had a team-best 27 points. In other bj-league action, the host Saitama Broncos defeated the Eastern Conference-leading Sendai 89ers 90-85. Gordon James had 22 points and James Davis added 19 as Saitama, which had nine players with one or more assists, improved to 14-13.

For the 89ers (19-8), Bobby St. Preux scored 30. Elsewhere, the visiting Osaka Evessa topped the Rizing Fukuoka 81-75.

Mikey Marshall's 28 points led the Evessa (22-6), who also got 18 points from Naoto Nakamura and a 17-point, 13-rebound-effort from Jeff Newton. Michael Gardener's 23 points led Fukuoka (10-18).

Rodney Webb scored 24 points, Andre Smith 20, Matt Garrison 10 and Takamichi Fujiwara seven as the Niigata Albiex BB edged the host Toyama Grouses 71-68. Niigata improved to 19-11, while the Grouses fell to 4-26.

Reggie Warren's 29 points and Isaac Sojourner's 15 sparked the Takamatsu Five Arrows to a 94-75 win over the Ryukyu Golden Kings. Rasheed Sparks dished out eight assists for the Five Arrows (18-9). The Golden Kings slipped to 7-20.
