Free agent infielder Kazuo Matsui has agreed to terms with the Houston Astros on a three-year, $15 million contract, an MLB.com article said Friday quoting a report by the Daily Herald of Chicago.
Matsui, who helped the Colorado Rockies reach the World Series this year, was filmed by Houston television station KRIV upon arriving at Houston's Bush Intercontinental Airport terminal on Friday evening.
The MLB.com article also quoted sources as saying Friday night that Matsui and the Astros had reached verbal agreement
