The host Rizing Fukuoka defeated the Ryukyu Golden Kings 100-90 on Thursday, completing a two-game sweep. Rizing guard Michael Gardener scored a game-best 31 points, while teammate Joshua Peppers added 27, Tsuyoshi Kawazura had 14 and Jeffrey Price contributed nine and 12 rebounds. Fukuoka (3-3) took control of the game in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Golden Kings 35-20 in the final 10 minutes. For Ryukyu (2-4), Taira Yoshida's 20 points led the team. Four other Golden Kings scored in double figures, including Danny Jones (16) and Naoto Takushi (13). Takushi led all players in assists (seven).
