Mongolian grand champion Asashoryu will return to Japan from his homeland on Nov. 26, the day after the upcoming Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament wraps up in Fukuoka, sumo sources said Thursday. According to the sources, Asashoryu will head to Tokyo after arriving at Narita airport to apologize to members of the Yokozuna Deliberation Council for behavior that led to a two-tournament suspension and will then hold a press conference.
