Center Nick Davis, playing his first regular-season games for the Tokyo Apache, scored 25 points in both of the team's victories last weekend over the Saitama Broncos.
The ex-Niigata Albirex standout is the bj-league's first Circle K Sunkus Player of the Week winner for the 2007-08 season. In the Apache's season-opening game on Saturday, Davis went 11-of-19 shots from the field and added 15 rebounds, four blocked shots and two assists. On Saturday afternoon, Davis, 31, had nine rebounds, three assists and one block.
