I knew we would hear from Ken Shimada, the Japanese fan living in Colorado who always boasts about Kazuo Matsui and the Rockies. Ken's most recent e-mail states:
"What an exciting time and place to be in Denver. This is truly a sports town, and I cannot remember the last time everyone talked more about the Rockies than the (NFL) Broncos during this time of the year.
"I am proud of Kazuo Matsui for sticking with the Rockies and not going back to Japan. You mentioned he may be better off going back to Japan, but I believe he will be here the rest of his career."
