LONDON (AP) Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has ended speculation he may leave the club at the end of the season by signing a new three-year contract.
The 57-year-old Wenger's current agreement was set to expire in June, prompting reports that he may quit, but Wenger is now set to become Arsenal's longest-serving manager if he stays to the end of the contract in 2011.
"My heart is tied to this football club so signing a new deal was always my intention," Wenger said Friday. "Arsenal is the club of my life."
