Kisanuki (11-7) had a perfect game until Hidenori Kuramoto singled to lead off the sixth at Nagoya Dome. The right-hander allowed only one other hit — Tyrone Woods' CL-leading 33rd home run — while striking out eight and walking none.

Damon Hollins' RBI double put Yomiuri on the board and Tani added a two-run single two batters later in the second.
