Fernando Seguignol drove home the tying run and the Pacific League-leading Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters went on to beat the Softbank Hawks 4-1 with a late rally for their fifth straight victory on Tuesday.

KYODO PHOTOSeguignol connected off Tsuyoshi Wada (10-8) for a leadoff shot in the seventh and an RBI groundout by pinch hitter Yukio Tanaka gave the Fighters the go-ahead run in the eighth at Yahoo Dome.
The Fighters added two runs in the ninth on an error by first baseman Nobuhiko Matsunaka and an RBI single from Makoto Tanaka.
