Stable elder Takasago said Monday that Mongolian grand champion Asashoryu will be scheduled for another medical examination to determine his condition after he was diagnosed with a form of acute stress last week. Takasago said Asashoryu, whose illness surfaced after he was suspended from two grand sumo tournaments, will see a doctor some time on or after Thursday. The 26-year-old was initially supposed to be examined by several doctors, but Takasago said Asashoryu will be examined by the same psychiatrist previously appointed by the Japan Sumo Association to make the house-call.
