Pitcher Ryoju Kihara has struggled in the inaugural season of the Israeli Baseball League. The right-hander, who pitches for the Netanya Tigers, has a 24.79 ERA in four appearances (one start). He's worked four innings and allowed 11 runs on six hits, walked nine and struck out none through Thursday's games. Kihara, a native of Hiroshima, resides in Yokohama. The six-team IBL began its season in late June.
