Takahashi (10-1) won his fifth straight decision and became the first 10-game winner in Japanese baseball this season after holding Seibu to one unearned run and six hits in interleague play at Hitachinaka Stadium in Ibaraki Prefecture.

The left-hander also helped his own cause with an RBI single in a three-run second.
