Pinch-hitter Ken Suzuki singled home the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Tokyo Yakult Swallows ended the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters' record 14-game winning streak in a 3-2 victory on Saturday.

Yasushi Iihara drew a walk with one out and reached second on a sacrifice bunt before coming home on Suzuki's single to right center at Matsuyama stadium in Ehime Prefecture. Alex Ramirez's solo blast with two out in the sixth tied it at 2-2.
Yu Darvish set the pace for the Fighters in a close contest, allowing two runs on three hits with 11 strikeouts in nine innings, but reliever Hisashi Takeda (2-2) gave up the decisive run. Yuhei Takai (1-2) got the win in relief.
