Shinji Takahashi sparked a three-run fourth inning with an RBI double Monday as the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters beat the Chunichi Dragons 7-2 to stretch their winning streak to eight games.

Hichori Morimoto delivered a two-run single in the fourth and a fifth-inning solo homer by Atsunori Inaba off Takuya Asao (3-1) gave Nippon Ham a 4-0 lead at Nagoya Dome.

Norihiro Nakamura hit a two-run homer to pull Chunichi to within two runs in the seventh, but Nippon Ham broke the game open with a three-run ninth.

Ryan Glynn (3-3) allowed two runs and five hits in 6 2/3 innings. Chunichi fell to second place in the Central League.
