Hichori Morimoto doubled in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning as the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters edged the Seibu Lions 3-2 on Sunday.

Morimoto's double down the right-field line scored pinch-runner Yang Chung-shou from second to put Nippon Ham ahead for the first time in the game at Nagano Olympic Stadium.
Satoru Kanemura (4-3) held Seibu to two runs and eight hits in six-plus innings. Micheal Nakamura threw a perfect ninth for his fourth save.
