The Chunichi Dragons have decided not to bring their case to the baseball commissioner's office against the Central League, which did not accept the club's plans to put Akihiro Kanemoto on waivers and re-sign the 19-year-old right-hander to a so-called player development contract. Chunichi announced the decision Friday after harsh criticism came out of other ballclubs and the players association toward the club's intention of having Kanemoto join a farm league-only development program to create a spot on the 70-man roster.
