Bare's double and another from fellow Brazilian Sidiclei saw the home side take just 24 minutes to romp into a 3-0 lead at rain-hit Expo Stadium and seemingly put the game out of Iwata's reach.
Shinji Murai fueled hopes of a Jubilo comeback with two goals in the space of nine second-half minutes but late strikes from Hideo Hashimoto and Takahiro Futagawa completed a deserved win for Gamba.
