Six of Nippon Ham's starting nine had multi-hit days and leadoff man Hichori Morimoto and Kensuke Tanaka both produced four hits apiece in the 23-hit onslaught at Sapporo Dome.

The offense got rolling in the opening frame, keyed by Fernando Seguignol's two-run homer and piled on more damage, scoring in each of the first six innings to take a 18-1 lead.
