Daisuke Miura picked up his first win and hit a go-ahead two-run double Friday as the Yokohama BayStars defeated the Hanshin Tigers 6-4 in a game called in the bottom of the ninth due to rain.

Opening-day starter Miura (1-2) worked 7 2/3 innings, allowing 11 hits and a walk while striking out seven. He turned the game around with his two-out double in a three-run rally in the seventh that gave Yokohama a two-run lead.

The game was eventually called during the ninth in pouring rain following a brief delay, ending the Tigers' three-game undefeated streak, including a tie.

BayStars closer Marc Kroon got his sixth save of the season.

At Tokyo Dome, Yoshinobu Takahashi homered to spark a three-run first inning and Tetsuya Utsumi struck out 10 in seven-plus innings, leading Yomiuri over Yakult for its third straight win.

Utsumi also walked three and hit a batter with a pitch in winning his third straight start. Masanori Hayashi worked the ninth to pick up his second save.

Takahashi led off the bottom of the first inning with his third homer of the season before Tomohiro Nioka hit an RBI double one out later and Shinnosuke Abe followed with a sacrifice fly off Yakult lefty Kazuhisa Ishii (1-1).

At Chiba Marine Stadium, Daisuke Hayakawa and Tsuyoshi Nishioka each had three hits and three RBIs as Lotte defeated Seibu for its third straight victory.
