Shinnosuke Abe and Takahiro Suzuki singled and scored on Kimura's two-out double down the right-field line that helped give rookie left-hander Norihito Kaneto (1-0) his first career win.
Kiyoshi Toyoda worked out of a one-out, bases-loaded jam in the ninth to pick up his second save.
