Boston Red Sox left-hander Hideki Okajima pitched one shutout inning on Thursday.
After a shaky outing the previous night against the Minnesota Twins, Okajima was perfect, retiring three in order with two strikeouts in the seventh inning in a 3-3 tie against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
