Akira Eto hit a two-run homer as the Seibu Lions edged the Tokyo Yomiuri Giants 4-3 in a preseason game Friday, extending their unbeaten streak to 11 games, including two ties.
Yomiuri left-hander Tetsuya Utsumi took a shutout into the seventh, but allowed six consecutive hits and four runs in the frame at Goodwill Dome. Seibu rookie right-hander Takayuki Kishi was shaky, giving up three runs and eight hits in six innings.
