The Tokyo Apache have terminated Tony "Go Get It" Jones' contract so he could return to his family in the United States, the team announced Monday.
Jones, who has made a name for himself as an AND 1 performer, didn't play in last weekend's games. He joined the team in December and played in 20 games (10 starts), averaging 9.4 points per game. Jones competed in the Slam Dunk Contest during the bj-league's first-ever All-Star weekend in late January in Ginowan, Okinawa Prefecture (The Japan Times)
