Osaka Evessa power forward Lynn Washington is the Circle K Sunkus Player of the Week, the bj-league announced Tuesday.
Washington, the league's MVP in 2005-06, led first-place Osaka to two wins over the Tokyo Apache last weekend. In Saturday's game, he scored 36 points on 14-for-18 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds.
A day later, he had 18 points and nine boards.
In other league news, ex-Apache forward Jeremee McGuire has signed a contract with the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Developmental League.
Yuta Tabuse plays for the Bakersfield Jam in the same league.
