The Niigata Albirex BB have signed shooting guard Masahide Haraguchi, the bj-league announced Saturday.
The 24-year-old Haraguchi had been playing for Niigata's A2 minor-league club when he earned the promotion.
A 186-cm, 77-kg player, Haraguchi is from Kanagawa Prefecture.
Niigata was the runnerup in 2005-06, the bj-league's inaugural season.
