Chunichi Dragons infielder Kazuyoshi Tatsunami re-signed a contract with the Central League club Thursday for an estimated annual salary of 100 million yen plus incentives, a pay cut of 125 million yen from last season.
Tatsunami, 37, mainly appeared this past season, his 19th with the Nagoya-based club, as a pinch hitter, batting .263 with one homer and 31 RBIs in 113 games. "It's not surprising," he said after re-signing the contract with the Dragons.
