YOKOHAMA -- Internacional shocked European giant Barcelona in the Club World Cup final Sunday, with a late goal from Adriano giving the Brazilian side a 1-0 win at International Stadium Yokohama.
Barca was in control in the first half but Internacional grabbed hold of the game later on and substitute Adriano ran on to a pass from the inspirational Pedro Iarley with eight minutes of normal time remaining to flick the ball beyond the reach of 'keeper Victor Valdes.
"I can't believe I scored the goal that won the world title," midfielder Adriano said.
