The Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters said Wednesday they have acquired infielder-outfielder Andy Green and right-hander Brian Sweeney.
Green played in 136 games over the past three years with the Arizona Diamondbacks with a .199 average, two homers and 12 RBIs, while Sweeney has had major league stints with the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres, where he went 2-0 with two saves in 2006.
