Right-hander Takashi Saito is set to announce a decision to remain with the Los Angeles Dodgers after an impressive rookie season, including 24 saves after earning the closer's role, in the major leagues, sources said Tuesday.

Saito, 36, has received an offer from the Dodgers that would roughly double his salary from an estimated $320,000 for this year, the sources said, adding he is scheduled to hold a press conference Wednesday.

He signed a minor-league contract with the Dodgers in February and made the club in spring training.
