The bj-league announced Friday that it will play an All-Star game on Jan. 27 at Ginowan Municipal Gymnasium, Okinawa Prefecture.
In the All-Star game, the league will be divided into a "north" team (Sendai 89ers, Niigata Albirex BB, Toyama Gourses and Saitama Broncos) and a "south" team (Tokyo Apache, Osaka Evessa, Takamatsu Five Arrows and Oita HeatDevils).
Each team will have 10 players, and five of them are to be selected via fan voting (at game sites and on the official Internet and mobile site). The other five are to be picked by the league.
