Kashima Antlers midfielder Chikashi Masuda struck a second-half equalizer as Japan drew 1-1 with South Korea in an Under-21 friendly on Tuesday.
Masuda rose above two defenders to head home a right-wing cross from Koki Mizuno in the 75th minute, canceling out the opening goal in first-half stoppage time by Yang Dong Hyen at National Stadium.
It was the teams' second draw in a week, including last Wednesday's 1-1 match in Changwon, South Korea.
