Veteran right-hander Masumi Kuwata said Thursday he has set his sights on the major leagues for next season and decided to leave the Yomiuri Giants after 21 seasons with the Central League club. Kuwata, 38, visited the Giants front office the same day where he met with team representative Hidetoshi Kyotake and received the green light to follow his dream of playing in the big leagues.
