The Tokyo Apache announced Tuesday that they have signed with ex-Sendai 89er, Michael Jackson, for the upcoming 2006-07 season.
The 27-year-old center/forward averaged 15.8 points and 8.33 rebounds last season for the 89ers, which was fourth highest in the regular season and helped the team advance to the playoffs.
Jackson was second in field goal percentage at 57 and third in steals per game at 1.8 in the league, and was chosen in the all-bj-league team in the inaugural season.
He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
