Tetsuya Iida delivered a pair of RBI singles as the last-place Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles beat the front-running Seibu Lions 4-2 to take their three-game series Sunday.

Iida broke a 2-2 tie with a pinch-hit RBI infield single in the sixth inning and added a run-scoring single to center to make it 4-2 in the eighth in Pacific League action at Fullcast Stadium.

Hiroki Yamamura (7-10) won after four scoreless innings in relief. Kazuo Fukumori retired the side in order in the ninth for his 20th save.

Seibu tied the game at 2-2 in the fourth on a solo home run by Kazuhiro Wada and an RBI triple by backup catcher Kosuke Noda.
