URAYASU, Chiba Pref. -- More than an hour after Japan and Senegal had completed their exciting exhibition basketball game at the Urayasu City Sports Park Gymnasium on Sunday several hundred die-hard fans remained at the arena.
They weren't going anywhere.
They waited outside on this muggy August evening for Team Japan to walk to its bus, and then the cheering, words of encouragement and photo opportunities quickly followed. Several players posed for photos with their adoring fans.
