In a further effort to draw more fans to home games at Tokyo Dome and remind supporters how good the team played 15-25 years ago, the Yomiuri Giants are remembering the "good ol' days" and holding '80s Night on Fridays.
The first such promotion took place on Aug. 4 against the Yokohama BayStars, with two more '80s Fridays coming up prior to the end of the 2006 season.
The Giants hope to pull in fans who found the decade between 1980 and 1989 to be nostalgic, and the remaining dates and cards are Aug. 18 against the Central League-leading Chunichi Dragons, and Sept. 8 when the visiting team will be the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. Both games start at 6 p.m.
