The Japan Football Association confirmed Wednesday that Japan will play Trinidad and Tobago in a home friendly Aug. 9.
The match at Tokyo's National Stadium has been arranged as Japan's first match since the World Cup in Germany, where Japan crashed out after the first round.
The JFA said Japan's Asian Cup qualifier against Yemen, scheduled for Aug. 16, will be played in Niigata.
