Yasuyuki Kataoka hit a three-run home run and Alex Cabrera also went deep as the Seibu Lions rallied to beat the Lotte Marines 4-3 in their fifth straight victory to move into first place in the Pacific League standings Saturday.

Daisuke Matsuzaka started for Seibu but left the mound with a groin injury after getting just two outs and walking two of the four batters he faced in the first inning. Kazuyuki Hoashi (4-2) got the win in relief, yielding three runs on six hits in 4 2/3 innings.

Lotte, which slipped into second place, went ahead 2-0 on Tomoya Satozaki's solo blast and a Matt Franco RBI grounder before Cabrera hit a solo drive in the bottom of the fourth inning followed by Kataoka's shot off Yasutomo Kubo (6-5) with one out in the fifth to make it 4-2 at Nagano Olympic Stadium.

Chikara Onodera retired three in order in the ninth for his 15th save. Seibu went atop the standings for the first time since May 17.
